CMSgt CHIEF MASTER SGT. HOLLY R. RIVERA

Chief Master Sgt. Holly R. Rivera is the 108th Wing Command Chief Master Sergeant, New Jersey Air National Guard, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. As the senior enlisted leader of the Wing, she is responsible for advising the Wing Commander and staff on mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, training, utilization, health, morale and welfare of more than 1,200 Air National Guard members.

Chief Rivera entered the Air Force in April 1996 and graduated technical school at Lackland AFB, Texas as a supply specialist in July 1996. Her background includes extensive service in inventory management to include MICAPs, mobility assets and readiness spares packages. During her active duty service, Chief Rivera deployed in support of Operation DESERT FOX to Southwest Asia. In 2000, Chief Rivera joined the reserves and moved to New Jersey to serve in the 514th Logistics Readiness Flight, 514th Air Mobility Wing as an Air Reserve Technician. Directly after the 2001 terrorist attacks, she was mobilized in support of Operations NOBLE EAGLE and ENDURING FREEDOM. In 2005, Chief Rivera cross-trained into the Logistics Plans career field. In 2012, Chief Rivera transferred to the New Jersey Air National Guard as the Logistics Plans Superintendent in the 108th Logistics Readiness Squadron, specializing in deployments and mobilization. In 2016, Chief Rivera transferred to the 108th Wing Inspector General office and served as the Superintendent of Inspections, where she specialized in Nuclear Operational Readiness Inspections. Prior to her current assignment, Chief Rivera served as the Superintendent of the 108th Operations Group.

In her civilian career, Chief Rivera is the Chief of Inspections for the installation Inspector General, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J.; responsible for managing and leading exercises, compliance inspections, HHQ special interest items and Wounded Ill and Injured housing inspections.
