Chief Master Sergeant LITCHROY M. MARQUIS

Chief Litchroy M. Marquis is the Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 108th Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New 
Jersey. As the senior enlisted leader of the wing, he serves as the principal advisor to the Wing Commander and is entrusted with all matters influencing mission effectiveness, professional development, combat readiness, training, effective utilization, health, morale and welfare of over 1,200 Citizen Airmen. The 108th Wing’s federal mission is to provide rapid global airpower, cyberspace operations, and intelligence in support of Air Mobility Command, Air Force Special Operations Command and Air Combat Command. Additionally, the wing’s state mission is to support the Governor of New Jersey in disaster relief and domestic emergency response operations.

Chief Marquis entered active military service in August 2001 as a Structural Apprentice and was an Honor Graduate of Basic Military Training. His first assignment after graduating technical school was with the 305th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES), McGuire AFB, New Jersey. In 2005, he reenlisted into the New Jersey Air National Guard as a Structural Journeyman, with the 108th CES and later served as an Operations Manager from 2006 to 2014. During this time, he deployed multiple times in 
support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2014, Chief Marquis was selected for a statutory tour at the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC) on Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. While working there, he gained valuable enterprise-level perspective and engaged with senior leaders of the National Guard and Regular Air Force. In 2018, he was selected as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 177th Civil Engineer Squadron. Prior to his current position, Chief Marquis served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 177th Mission Support Group, where he led over 400 Airmen in key wing support functions.
