Stratotanker refuels a Stratofortress

Richard Friendlich of the 141st Air Refueling Squadron, New Jersey Air National Guard, taxi a KC-135R Stratotanker assigned to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., after a refueling mission May 24, 2016. The KC-135R team worked together with boom operator Senior Airman Brian Kelley, also of the 141st Air Refueling Squadron, to refuel a B-52H Stratofortress assigned to the 343rd Bomb Squadron, stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base, La. The KC-135R Stratotanker provides core aerial refueling capability and enhances the Air Force's capability to accomplish its primary mission of global reach.
