KC-135 Decal
A KC-135R Stratotanker gets a tiger decal makeover symbolizing its 32-year assignment to the 108th Wing, New Jersey Air National Guard, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Maintainers from the 108th Maintenance Squadron created, produced, and applied the decal. Collectively, aircrew from the 141st Air Refueling Squadron, otherwise known as the Tiger Squadron, accomplished thousands of sorties in support of missions globally in this aerial-refueling tanker, introduced to the Air Force in 1957. In line with the FY23 National Defense Authorization Act passed by Congress on Dec. 23, 2022, the wing will complete divestment of its KC-135s this fiscal year.
