  • All Airmen required to recertify their Basic Allowance for Housing

    Members of the 108th Wing are required to recertify their Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) and submit a signed AF Form 594 to the finance office by Sept. 17, 2020. Those who fail to submit the required form are at risk of having their future BAH adjusted to a lower rate.
  • Updates to drill weekend lodging policy (links fixed)

    Members of the 108th Wing who live far from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., may be eligible for lodging on drill weekends if they meet certain criteria as stated in 108 WG Instruction 34-601, services lodging policy. Previously, lodging was based on the county the member’s residence was located. As of June 22, 2020, lodging will be based on mileage away from the base. The distance is calculated from the member’s Home of Record (HOR) based on the Defense Table of Official Distances.
  • *UPDATE* ANG implementation of SecDef OPSEC campaign

    The SecAF has directed all DAF personnel to complete the SecDef OPSEC and Unauthorized Disclosure training. **UPDATE** The Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve have been given an extension until Sept. 18, 2020 to allow for two complete drill weekends to accomplish this mandatory OPSEC and security related training. There are two options to complete this training, with the simplest and most direct route being through ADLS, but you can also be presented the slides for all of the training by your commander or his/her designee (OPSEC Coordinator) with a training sign-in sheet that is relayed to the Unit Training Manager (UTM) for the UTM to update your records in ADLS to show completion of this requirement.

  • 108th Wing Guardsmen no longer tasked with drug testing duties

    The Drug Demand Reduction Program, once assigned to Drill Status Guardsmen as an additional duty, has now become a civilian-run entity led by contractor, Tammy Gericke. Gericke, with a hired staff of civilian contractors as Drug Testing Program Administration Managers (or DTPAMs) and observers, will now manage testing for the 108th Wing, "striv[ing] for a drug-free Air Force".
  • 108th Wing migrates email to Cloud Hosted Enterprise Service

    Starting in July 2020, the 108th Wing is migrating their current email services to the Cloud Hosted Enterprise Service (CHES). The Air National Guard is adopting the CHES environment to better align with the U.S. Air Force who has been on CHES for several years. Users will need to take action between July 27 to Sept. 30, 2020 to migrate to the new system. After September 30, all Defense Enterprise Emails (DEE) and personal drives will be decommissioned.
  • 108th Civil Engineer Squadron restores roof after storm

    After last week’s storm left damage to the hanger’s protective paneling, the five Drill Status Guardsmen were tasked with the job. “We are all DSGs and were put on orders for 30 days to help install adjustments for social distancing,” said Tech Sgt. MaDarrell McCullough, power production, 108th CES. “When we heard a storm was coming, we figured it would be minor rain, but nothing like this.”

  • 108th Wing conducts virtual Unit Training Assembly

    As the 108th Wing continues to support New Jersey on the frontlines of the COVID-19 response, focus remains on the three priorities: Protect our Airmen, Protect our Mission, and Protect our Communities.  For the upcoming April drill, 108th members will adhere to the direction of New Jersey Governor Murphy and the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst
